“As It Was” spent its fifteenth week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “As It Was” by Harry Styles becomes the longest-running US number one.

“As It Was” by Harry Styles has held the top spot on the US singles chart for the longest amount of time by a British musician. With “As It Was” spending its fifteenth week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Harry Styles is still breaking records there. The song has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a record-breaking 15 weeks, shattering the previous mark shared by Mark Ronson and Sir Elton John.

With his movie “Don’t Worry Darling” Styles is present atop the US box office rankings.

“As It Was” has spent 15 weeks at the top of the singles charts, making it the single artist with the fourth-longest-running number one in US chart history. Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X’s Old Town Road currently hold the record with 19 weeks. Each song ruled for 16 weeks.

Fans continued to visit theatres despite the picture Don’t Worry Darling, which was directed by Styles’ partner Olivia Wilde. The film, which also stars Chris Pine and Florence Pugh, earned a respectable $19.2 million (£17.7 million) in its first weekend in North America. Thanks to media accounts of on-set conflict and backstage drama in recent weeks, the movie has received a lot of attention.
